Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technicians for a well-established automotive manufacturing facility in Sheboygan, WI. This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.

Qualified candidates should have strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair industrial machinery, conveyors, bearings, belts, motors, and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, and 480VAC), read schematics, and perform electrical panel work.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, sensors, motors, and piping.
• Diagnose PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley (RSLogix 5/500/5000, Studio 5000) and Siemens Step 7; interpret ladder logic and make basic program adjustments.
• Troubleshoot ABB industrial robots, including controllers, programming, positioning, calibration, and component replacement.
• Maintain and troubleshoot vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Sick, Sherlock, ABB) and laser engraving equipment (Keyence, Mecco).
• Perform equipment installations, mechanical fabrication, welding, and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability.
• Follow plant safety procedures, maintenance documentation requirements, and applicable ISO standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with PLCs, industrial automation, and robotic equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience using multimeters, diagnostic tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier material handling.
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery, elevated platforms, and confined spaces.
• Ability to operate forklifts, lifts, and overhead cranes.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow required safety and PPE procedures in a manufacturing environment.
