Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. The responsibilities of a Family Law Litigation Attorney in our firm include representing and advising clients in various family cases.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Represent clients in family law hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and final orders.
• Guide clients through complex legal and emotional situations.
• Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys on case strategy.
• Oversee case files, track progress, and manage deadlines.
• Communicate regularly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Occasional travel required across Ohio.

Qualifications

What You Need:
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio.
• Prior experience with Family Law is preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent courtroom presence and legal writing skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship abilities.
• Confidence under pressure and compassion for people in crisis.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
• The Family Law Litigation Attorney will have a four-year bachelor's degree, a Juris Doctor degree, and be licensed to practice law in West Virginia.
• The Family Law Litigation Attorney will demonstrate proficiency in litigation skills.
